Dear Editor: In response to the Dec. 18 letter from Elizabeth Wendt, entitled "Opposing all energy projects nonsensical," it seems that we can all agree that efficient and cost-effective energy for the growing populace is an important issue.

What we may be overlooking is the fact that we're settling on a form of energy that is pronounced cheap by the companies profiting from it. This "cheap energy" is dangerous to others around the planet, the planet itself and future generations to come.
