Why would any Hemingway aficionado want to read a work entitled Henry James and Queer Modernity? It was Hemingway, after all, who both mocked Henry James's alleged bicycle accident in The Sun Also Rises (115) and later famously denounced "those interested parties who are continually proving that Leonardo Da Vinci, Shakespeare, etc. were fags" (DIA 418).
