IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS of November 23, 1992, in Molln, a town near Hamburg, two right-wing arsonists firebombed a house in which a ten-year-old Turkish girl, her fifty-one-year-old grandmother, and the grandmother's fourteen-year-old niece were sleeping. All three were killed. Nine others were injured. The youngest, Yeliz Arslan, burned to death in her bed.
