A SMALL London animation company has beaten competition from some of the biggest names in showbusiness to earn a place on the Emmys shortlist.

Desperate Housewives and Will And Grace may be the big hitters, but when the nominations for the Los Angeles TV awards were unveiled yesterday, the biggest cheer came from a tiny office near Warren Street.

VooDoo Dog, with six staff, was set up a year and a half ago by friends David Z Obadiah, 38, and Paul Donnellon, 39. It created the unique animated titles for hit BBC TV movie The Life And Death Of ...
