Zara has entered the Mexican market as part of its international expansion program. The apparel firm, based in Spain, will add 26 more stores to its current seven, located in Mexico City. Typically, each store is 7,500 sq ft and offers apparel for women, men and children. Zara executives help decide on what merchandise to sell, and inventories are kept at a minimum so that styles can be changed or eliminated.
