City council okays Baguio's P755.5-M budget for '07; income up by P15.5 M.(Provincial News)

BAGUIO CITY - The city council unanimously approved last week a R755.5-million budget of the city government for next year.

It is higher by some P15.5 million than the current budget of P740 million.

The council approval of the budget came before the Yuletide break.

This means that the city government will not operate on a reenacted budget by next year unlike the national government which will operate on a reenacted budget because the House and Senate contingents in the bicameral conference committee failed to iron out their differences.
