DAVAO CITY -- Leaders of different tribal communities in this city and region have hailed the establishment of an authentic indigenous tribal village reflecting the cultural practices of the more than 20 tribes inhabiting the hinterlands and highlands of the Davao Region.

The village is the site for a 10-day (Nov. 16-25) tribal gathering called the "Kalimudan Panaghiusa sa Mindanao."
