For an entire year, a group of six oil companies has been busy analysing the date from their exploration activity in the Barents Sea. Now, with the world complete, the group has decided to continue its joint exploration efforts in that sea -- with an eye on the nomination of blocks for the 16th licensing if exploration in the Barents Sea. Of the 53 wells that were drilled, none produce any commercial discoveries -- and costs rose to NOK11 billion.
