The final rounds of the Halifax League's Briggs Priestley Merit will be played at Akroydon Victoria BC on Sunday (1.30).
Mark Regan of Hill Crest will be hoping to repeat last year's success as he begins his defence against club-mate Paul Hitchen.
The pair are among six Hill Crest qualifiers in the final 16. They also include 1998 winner Brian Holroyd, who faces 1996 semi-finalist Les Holmes of Holmfield.
