THE Beeches School completed a hat-trick of Hunts County Kwik Cricket wins following a thrilling one-run win over Brampton in the 2007 final at Hinchinbrooke School.

The city-based youngsters reached the final over requiring eight to win and kept their composure to book their place in the Eastern Regional Finals.

Captain Nadir Haider was the pick of the Beeches bowlers, while Brampton's Christian Le was named player of the tournament.

The losing semi-finalists were William Law, Werrington, who had reached the county finals for the first time, and Ramsey.
