The Italian fascist dictator Benito Mussolini has become a fashion trend among a new generation of Italians. T shirts, baseball caps and calendars with his name or likeness are selling like Britney Spears albums. Several former Mussolini homes have recently fetched premium prices. Trendy bars and Internet cafes boast of past speeches Il Duce gave on the premises or other tenuous affiliations. A vineyard in the northern city of Udine even features Mussolini's mug on its fall wines, and a Sicilian town is naming a street after him.
