Top bird watchers have a retentive ear for a song, the way good musicians do. They hear a bird song once, and they have it forever. But most birdwatchers like some kind of aural aid to get them winging into the spring song season now with us. Today, they're lucky enough to have a number of superior recordings of songs and calls to choose from.
