Interpreting Transference in the Supervision of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy*

Supervisors of analytic psychotherapy have long wrestled with the question of whether interpretation has a legitimate role in dealing with supervisee countertransference and the transferences of the supervisory experience, itself.
