Description:

Independent, comprehensive, women only, affiliated with Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Awards bachelor's and master's degrees. Founded 1889. Setting: 100-acre urban campus with easy access to Atlanta. Endowment: $297.8 million. Educational spending 2003-04: $15,193 per student. Total enrollment: 1,002. Faculty: 103 (74 full-time, 29 part-time). Application deadlines: 3/1, 11/15 for early decision. Notification: continuous until 5/1, 12/15 for early decision.

Costs Per Year:

Application fee: $35. Comprehensive fee: $30,410 includes full-time tuition ($22,050), mandatory fees ($160), and college room and board ($8200). Room and board charges vary according to board plan and housing facility. Part-time tuition: $920 per credit hour. Part-time mandatory fees: $160 per year. Collegiate Environment:

Orientation program. Drama-theater group, choral group, marching band, student-run newspaper. Social organizations: 77 open to all.
