Heliogabalus

Heliogabalus (ad 204–22), Roman emperor 218–22. He took his name from the Syro-Phoenician sun god Elah-Gabal, of whom he was a hereditary priest. He became notorious for his dissipated lifestyle and neglect of state affairs.
