Born in 1414 (some sources cite 1419); died in 1440; daughter of Parisina (Malatesta) d'Este and Nicholas also known as Niccolo III d'Este (1383–1441), 12th marquis of Ferrara; married Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta (1417–1486); children: Roberto Malatesta (d. 1484). Sigismondo's second wife was Polissena Sforza; his 3rd wife was Isotta degli Atti .
