Buller, John, English composer; b. London, Feb. 7, 1927. He studied music as a child, beginning formal composition lessons in 1959 with Anthony Milner in London. He served as composer-in-residence at the Univ. of Edinburgh (1975–76) and at Queens Univ. in Belfast (1985–86).
