Poston, Elizabeth
Poston, Elizabeth , English pianist and composer; b. High-field, Hertfordshire, Oct. 24, 1905; d. there, March 18, 1987. She studied piano with Harold Samuel; also took courses at the Royal Academy of Music in London. During World War II, she was in charge of music in the European Service of the BBC in London. Her works follow along neo-Classicial lines.
