21. Alexander the Great builds an empire
Commonly known as Alexander the Great, this Macedonian leader built an empire using brute force like not many before him. As a teenager he was tutored by Aristotle, and went on use to his charisma to help him gain power and build an empire. As the Greek city-states began to rise to power, Alexander the Great prepared for battle. He used his knowledge and way with people to eventually conquer parts of India, Persia, Egypt and Mesopotamia. While not the greatest leader in history, his influence can still be seen today in Greek and Asian culture which makes his conquests an extraordinary moment in history.
