22. An unknown natural force kills 9 people

This historical moment in history is still an unsolved mystery. On the last day of January in 1959, 9 people went on a hiking trip and didn’t make it back alive. Search parties found them later with major injuries and peculiar bits of evidence. Ripped from the inside, their tents told a tale of a very frightened person who would cut themselves out of tent in freezing temperatures just to get away. Rumors about what caused their deaths circulated, but none could ever be proven. Many believe they were victims of a military experiment.
