This unbelievable photo from history shows another rare but funny to watch past time. Some say this weird fad started as a prank or activity commonly done by college students. Gaining popularity around the same time as goldfish eating, this hobby was more a team effort. It’s been said that phone booth stuffing was most popular around the late 1950s, when the same boys stuffing themselves into these phone booths were also raiding girls dorms for panties. The fad turned into a competition which was eventually won by South Africa when they stuffed 25 people into one single booth.
