Hugo Gernsback, the man seen in this unbelievable photo from history was way ahead of his time. An inventor and publisher, Gernsback was well known in his time. In this photo, taken for a interview with Life Magazine, he models his on creation, the TV Goggles. Truthfully, they were the first VR goggles ever created. Like most of his inventions, they didn’t catch on back in the 30s. However, many of the things he created back then are in use today, like an electric hair brush and a battery-powered handheld mirror.
