No one seems to know the truth behind this unbelievable photo from history. The epitome of efficiency, this family bike allowed mom to sew and spend time with the kids. The family bicycle seems to have two people pushing pedals and a stationary seat for one playing look out. Meanwhile, the mother is encased in bike parts so she can get her sewing done while also having fun. This photo could have been part of a publicity stunt, a marketing ploy or a bizarre invention that never really caught on. If it is the latter, we understand why. Who wants to take their sewing machine with them on a bike ride?
