When people first discovered robot technology, they were obsessed. Pictured in this unbelievable photo from history is a robot created during that time. Most robots back in the 60s, had minimal functionality. They couldn’t do much of anything, but that didn’t stop people from wanting robots that could perform basic tasks for them. This robot in particular was designed to answer the phone. While he could also hang up the phone, he couldn’t do much else. Today’s robots are more advanced and can perform a full work day at a factory.
