7. The First Wedding Car

This unbelievable photo from history shows one of the first uses of a car after a wedding. Today, the car in this photo is regarded by some as the First Wedding Car. It is housed in the Haynes Motor Museum in Somerset and the staff there traced it’s history back. They were able to contact the relatives of the people in this very photo and determine that this car was used by James Andrews and Rosa Gough in 1903 after their wedding ceremony. This beautiful photo gives us some insight into age old traditions around marriage that date back over a century.
