Collegiate Environment:

Community Environment:

The city of Grand Rapids provides additional service, internship, recreational, and employment opportunities for students in the area's six colleges. It has a lively interest in the arts, as evidenced by an active symphony orchestra, civic theatre, ballet association, and art museum. Recreational opportunities abound with professional hockey, basketball, baseball, and arena football or concerts at De-Vos Hall or Van Andel Arena.
