Community Environment: A town of diversified industries, Coffeyville has churches of many denominations, a hospital and numerous civic, service and social organizations. A municipal airport, railroads and bus lines provide transportation. A significant point of interest is the Dalton Defenders Museum. Coffeyville was once the home of the famous baseball pitcher, Walter Johnson; a memorial to Johnson may be seen in Walter Johnson Park.
