Description:
Independent Roman Catholic, comprehensive, women only. Awards bachelor's and master's degrees (also offers coed adult undergraduate degree program and coed graduate programs). Founded 1899. Setting: 188-acre suburban campus with easy access to New York City. Endowment: $19 million. Educational spending 2003-04: $7420 per student. Total enrollment: 1,976. Faculty: 196 (62 full-time, 134 part-time). Community Environment:
Situated in northern New Jersey, two miles east of Morristown (population 16,839), the college is near enough to New York to enjoy the educational, cultural and social advantages of that city. All forms of commercial transportation are convenient.
