Description: District-supported, 2-year, coed. Part of Illinois Community College Board. Awards certificates, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1974. Setting: small town campus. Educational spending 2002-03: $2801 per student. Total enrollment: 2,374. Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 15:1. 2% from top 10% of their high school class, 27% from top quarter, 60% from top half. Full-time: 1,211 students, 58% women, 42% men. Part-time: 1,163 students, 68% women, 32% men. Costs Per Year: Area resident tuition: $1980 full-time, $66 per credit hour part-time. State resident tuition: $4980 full-time, $166 per credit hour part-time. Nonresident tuition: $166 per credit hour part-time. Mandatory fees: $150 full-time, $15 per credit hour part-time.

Collegiate Environment: Orientation program. Choral group. Campus security: 24-hour emergency response devices, late night transport-escort service.
