Description:

Independent Roman Catholic, comprehensive, coed. Awards associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees. Founded 1947. Setting: 220-acre suburban campus with easy access to Boston. Endowment: $28.5 million. Research spending 2003-04: $97,269. Educational spending 2003-04: $9089 per student. Total enrollment: 2,326. Faculty: 244 (139 full-time, 105 part-time). Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 12:1. 3,547 applied, 64% were admitted. 20% from top 10% of their high school class, 45% from top quarter, 83% from top half. 20 class presidents, 4 valedictorians, 197 student government officers. Full-time: 2,027 students, 53% women, 47% men. Part-time: 277 students, 52% women, 48% men. Collegiate Environment:

Community Environment:

North Andover is approximately 25 miles north of Boston and has rail and bus service to the city. Andover is used extensively for relaxation, shopping and eating. The local area is rich in cultural and historic attractions.
