Programs of Study

Norwich University's M.B.A. program boasts one of the highest retention rates in the nation, owing to its fine faculty, great students, and engaging, well-organized curriculum. The program not only empowers students with the skills required to handle complex business situations, but also gives them a mind-set to establish and run a business enterprise based on scientific research, sound strategy, and a precise action plan. Every seminar features an individual project that makes students turn and face their own company and industry; it is another opportunity to customize the M.B.A. degree. If context is important in learning, and it is, then this is where education turns quickly into ROI.

The Master of Civil Engineering at Norwich University was designed specifically for working civil engineers by leaders in civil engineering education, based on the most recent recommendations of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). The resulting program provides a comprehensive examination of the technical side of engineering and addresses the administrative issues faced by today's engineers. Topics covered range from how to perform a nonlinear dynamic frame analysis to how to run a consulting office. Upon program completion, students have compiled a portfolio containing copies of all their design projects from the six seminars that reflects extensive growth the student has experienced through this rigorous program.

Norwich University offers a Master of Science in information assurance. The National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security have designated Norwich University as a Center for Academic Excellence in Information Assurance (IA) Education. The program is designed for those in technology fields who wish to combine technical competency in computer science or information assurance systems with a deep knowledge of IA issues affecting managerial decisions and an organization's IA policies.
