Independent, university, coed, affiliated with Church of Christ. Awards bachelor's, master's, doctoral, and first professional degrees and post-master's certificates. Founded 1937. Setting: 830-acre small town campus with easy access to Los Angeles. Total enrollment: 7,919. Faculty: 743 (390 full-time, 353 part-time).
