Independent, 4-year, women only. Awards associate and bachelor's degrees. Founded 1911. Setting: 65-acre suburban campus with easy access to Boston. Endowment: $11.7 million. Campus security: 24-hour emergency response devices and patrols, student patrols, late night transport-escort service, controlled dormitory access. 481 college housing spaces available; 371 were occupied in 2003-04.
