Description: State-supported, 2-year, coed. Awards certificates, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1963. Setting: 57-acre urban campus with easy access to Boston. Total enrollment: 6,591. Full-time: 2,852 students, 55% women, 45% men. Part-time: 3,739 students, 65% women, 35% men. Students come from 3 states and territories, 13 other countries, 1% Native American, 10% Hispanic, 8% black, 4% Asian American or Pacific Islander, 1% international, 45% 25 or older, 4% transferred in.
