State and locally supported, 2-year, coed. Part of State University of New York System. Awards certificates, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1959. Setting: 150-acre suburban campus with easy access to New York City. Research spending 2003-04: $1.3 million. Total enrollment: 6,549.
