Distance Learning Program
The online degree programs and certificates that are offered through SetonWorldWide (the online campus of Seton Hall University) are designed for professionals who have demonstrated achievement in their respective fields and have the ability, desire, and dedication to accept the rigors of a fast-paced, challenging curriculum.
The SetonWorldWide degree programs have been designed for working professionals who benefit from "any-time, anywhere" education. As learning team members, students and faculty members have extensive interaction, and these relationships provide a rich and dynamic online learning experience.
Three on-campus weekend residencies enable students to meet their classmates and faculty in person. During the third residency, students participate in commencement activities. All degrees are granted by Seton Hall University, an institution fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

SetonWorldWide online degree programs feature electronic seminar discussions, e-mail, Internet-based audio and video, electronic research, and different types of software to enhance learning. Prior to the start of the program, students receive all the course materials, including books, articles, audiotapes, videotapes, and CD-ROMs. Computer requirements include a midrange desktop or laptop computer with Internet access.

Seton Hall University has been distinguished by a number of firsts. It is the first diocesan college in the United States, founded in 1856 by James Roosevelt Bayley, the first Bishop of Newark, and named for Elizabeth Ann Seton, the first American-born saint. And, through SetonWorldWide, it was one of the first traditional universities to offer full online degree programs. The University's mission, to provide an educational experience that imparts concrete knowledge and skills in the context of ethical values, is as timely today as in 1856, and as important on the Internet as in the classroom. At Seton Hall, timeless values intersect with technology to offer high-quality online degree programs that serve the educational aspirations and professional needs of students from across the country and around the world. By utilizing the Internet and the latest teaching technologies, students benefit from the flexibility to fulfill course requirements at the time of day when they are at their best and from the place that is most convenient for them. For its ability to empower students with technology, Seton Hall was awarded the prestigious EDUCAUSE Award for excellence in campus networking.
The M.S.N.–nurse practitioner curriculum offers the choice of five clinical tracks: adult nurse practitioner, gerontological nurse practitioner, pediatric nurse practitioner, women's health nurse practitioner, and acute care nurse practitioner. The M.S.N. in health systems administration provides nurses with the critical management and business skills needed to function effectively within today's integrated systems of health-care delivery.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (for RNs) program (33 credits, nineteen months) is designed for registered nurses who wish to obtain their Bachelor of Science degree.
