Independent Roman Catholic, comprehensive, coed. Awards associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees. Founded 1919. Setting: 140-acre small town campus with easy access to Detroit. Total enrollment: 2,153. Faculty: (65 full-time). Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 14:1. 979 applied, 64% were admitted. 19% from top 10% of their high school class, 30% from top quarter, 77% from top half. 6 valedictorians. Students come from 8 states and territories, 0.2% Native American, 2% Hispanic, 10% black, 0.4% Asian American or Pacific Islander, 1% international, 51% 25 or older, 33% live on campus.
