Description:

Independent Lutheran, 4-year, coed. Awards bachelor's degrees. Founded 1874. Setting: 300-acre small town campus with easy access to Minneapolis-St. Paul. Endowment: $190.8 million. Research spending 2003-04: $642,789. Educational spending 2003-04: $13,075 per student. Total enrollment: 3,046. Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 13:1. 3,144 applied, 64% were admitted. 47% from top 10% of their high school class, 80% from top quarter, 98% from top half. 50 National Merit Scholars, 72 valedictorians. Full-time: 2,973 students, 59% women, 41% men. Part-time: 73 students, 53% women, 47% men. Collegiate Environment:
