Independent Roman Catholic, comprehensive, coed. Awards associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees. Founded 1935. Setting: 33-acre urban campus. Endowment: $16 million. Application fee: $15. Tuition: $4350 full-time, $145 per credit part-time. Mandatory fees: $460 full-time, $460 per semester hour part-time. College room only: $2000.

Collegiate Environment:

Orientation program. Drama-theater group, choral group, student-run newspaper. Social organizations: 18 open to all. Most popular organizations: La Red (personal development center), Student Council, Judo Club, Athletic Association. Major annual events: Welcome Party, Inter-University Athletic Competition. Student services: health clinic, personal-psychological counseling. Campus security: 24-hour patrols. 553 college housing spaces available; 385 were occupied in 2003-04. No special consideration for freshman housing applicants. Options: men-only, women-only housing available.
