1. An age in the Middle Devonian Epoch preceded by the Emsian, followed by the Givetian, and dated at 386.0–380.8Ma (Harland et al.,1989).

2. The name of the corresponding European stage, which is roughly contemporaneous with the upper Cunninghamian (Australia) and upper Onesquethawian (N. America).
