Countess of Stafford. Name variations: Anne Stafford. Born in April 1383; died on October 16, 1438 and buried at Llanthony Priory, Gwent, Wales; daughter of Thomas of Woodstock, 1st duke of Gloucester, and Eleanor de Bohun (1366–1399); married Thomas Stafford, 3rd earl of Stafford, in 1392; married Edmund Stafford, 5th earl of Stafford, in 1398; married William Bourchier, count of Eu, in 1404; children: (second marriage) Humphrey Stafford, 1st duke of Buckingham; Anne Stafford (d. 1432); Philippa Stafford (died young); (third marriage) Henry Bourchier, 1st earl of Essex; Thomas Bourchier (cardinal archbishop of Canterbury); John Bourchier (1st Baron Berners); William Bourchier (Lord Fitzwarren); Anne Bourchier (d. 1474).
