Henigson Human Rights Fellowships (Undergraduate/Fellowship)
Purpose: To encourage the HLS students to build human rights work and to expand their interest in working in the field. Focus: Human rights. Qualif.: Applicants must be current and former J.D. students: 3Ls expecting to receive the J.D. degree, as well as J.D graduates who currently clerk for a judge; must be engaged in full-time public interest work; must be active in human rights or public interest work while students at HLS; must be LL.M. students who expect to receive the LL.M. degree and who come from and will return to a country other than the United States. Criteria: Selection of recipients will be based on the application materials.
Funds Avail.: $27,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit a curriculum vitae, including information about classes, work and extracurricular activities in public interest and human rights inside and outside of Harvard Law School; a personal statement (500 words maximum) about the applicant's relevant experience, interest, and future aspirations with respect to public interest and human rights work; a project description; a letter and supporting materials from sponsoring organization detailing their purpose, function, and particular interest in the work of the applicant; two or three letters of recommendation including at least one from an HLS professor; and an HLS transcript. Deadline: March 7.
HRP Global Human Rights Fellowships (Graduate/Fellowship)
Purpose: To support the graduating 3Ls, LL.M.s, or recent HLS graduates with a demonstrated commitment to human rights. Focus: Human rights. Qualif.: Applicants must be Harvard Law School J.D. students: must be 3Ls expecting to receive the J.D. degree, as well as recent J.D. graduates; must be Harvard Law School LL.M. students who expect to receive the LL.M. degree. Criteria: Selection of recipients will be based on the application materials.

Satter Human Rights Fellowships (Graduate/Fellowship)
Purpose: To enable students to make a significant contribution to addressing human rights violations involving mass atrocities and similar situations during the year of the fellowship and to help students develop careers in human rights. Focus: Human rights. Qualif.: Applicants must be Harvard Law School J.D. students: 3Ls expecting to receive the J.D. degree, as well as recent J.D. graduates; must be Harvard Law School LL.M. students who expect to receive the LL.M. degree. Criteria: Selection of recipients will be based on the application materials.
