Moors Murders
Moors Murders name given to the sadistic serial killings of children carried out by Ian Brady (1938– ) and his accomplice Myra Hindley (1942–2002), for which they were convicted in 1966; the name derived from their having buried the bodies of their victims on Saddleworth Moor in the Pennines.
