Godzilla vs. Biollante
Godzilla vs. Biollante ★★ Gojira tai Biorante 1989 (PG)
Five years after Japan was destroyed, scientists are studying Godzilla's cells. Desparate spies, who apparently can't find their own Godzilla cells on all the ruined buildings, relaease Godzilla from his volcanic prison. When one scientist's attempt to create a superplant goes awry and creates the behemoth Biollante, the monsters go at it in a giant territorial rumble. Japan (or a really small model thereof) is once again underfoot. Sequel to “Godzilla 1985.” 104m/C VHS . JP Koji Takahashi, Yoshiko Tanaka, Megumi Odaka, Kunihiko Mitamura, Masahiro Takashima, Kenpachiro Satsuma; D: Kazuki Omori; W: Kazuki Omori; C: Yudai Kato.
