Wealthy Jay Gatsby (Stephens) was a poor boy with a questionable past who fell in love with rich girl Daisy (Sorvino), who married another (Donovan). Now Jay, who wants to make it in Jazz Age Newport society, renews his involvement with superficial Daisy, which leads to tragedy. All the drama is observed by Daisy's cousin Nick (Rudd).
