K-9 ★★½ 1989 (PG-13)
After having his car destroyed by a drug dealer, “I work alone” Belushi is forced to take on a partner—a German Shepherd. Together they work to round up the bad guys and maybe chew on their shoes a little. Sometimes amusing one-joke comedy done in by a paper-thin script. Both the dog and Belushi are good, however. 111m/C VHS, DVD . James Belushi, Mel Harris, Kevin Tighe, Ed O'Neill, Cotter Smith, James Handy, Jerry Lee; D: Rod Daniel; W: Steven Siegel, Scott Myers; C: Dean Semler; M: Miles Goodman.
