Wild Style ★★ 1983

Zoro, a mild-mannered Bronx teenager, spends his evenings spray-painting subway cars. Intended as a depiction of urban street life, including graffiti, breakdancing and rap music. Mildly interesting social comment, but unconvincing as cinema. Too “realistic,” with too little vision. 82m/C VHS, DVD . Lee George Quinones, Fredrick Braithwaite, Dondi White; D: Charlie Ahearn; M: Fred Brathwaite.
