Anglesi, Domenico

Anglesi, Domenico, Italian composer; b. c. 1613; d. after Aug. 28, 1669. He was an instrumentalist and composer in the service of the Grand Duke of Tuscany in Florence from 1638. He also was aiutante de camera to Cardinal Giovan Carlo de’ Medici. Anglesi wrote stage works and publ. a vol. of Arie for Voice and Continuo (Florence, 1635).
