Animuccia, Paolo
Animuccia, Paolo, Italian composer; b. probably in Florence, c. 1500; d. probably in Urbino, c. 1570. He most likely was the brother of Giovanni Animuccia. He served as maestro di cappella at St. John Lateran in Rome (1550–52) and at the court of the Duke of Urbino. He composed motets and madrigals.
