Dohnácutenyi, Oliver Von
Dohnácute nyi, Oliver von, Czech conductor; b.ovTrencin, March 2, 1955. He received training in violin, conducting, and composition at the Bratislava Cons., and in conducting at the Prague Academy of Music and the Vienna Hochschule fiir Musik. From 1979 to 1986 he conducted the Slovak Radio Sym. Orch. in Bratislava, where he also served as principal conductor of the Slovak National Opera. He was music director of the National Theater in Prague from 1993 to 1996. He appeared as a guest conductor with many of the major European opera companies and orchs.
